@bert.van.tongeren That is the secret of restoration. Doing it yourself as cheaply as possible. On mine, I did everything including paint. Some parts I bought through eBay and of course chroming I sent out a few pieces at a time.

Realy loving the bike but i won't put 1000's in it. Luckily i'm good with my hands ,one of my sons is studying as a mecanic and my oldest is a welder 👍

@bert.van.tongeren ya, I remember that. They went to court and Yamaha had to sell Harleys for 10 years along side theirs, and Harley had to update their machines and make them cheaper.
