Always Something I realised there was something missing on the restore. The master Cylinder was not in the correct position because the original bars were on an angle compared to these almost straight bars. And I had paint touched the switches, but for some reason they looked old. So I bought a master Cylinder Chrome set for these bars and new swiches. ..... Now it's complete!
Love it.... It's a sexy, fun-to-ride powerhouse!
Rear brake cover . Just got cover back from rechroming. This was the last piece to get done. The great thing about living in Portugal is that everything here is cheap, or I should say inexpensive with the exception of fuel. This cost me 20€. ....Did I say I love chrome? I guess you have figured that out by now 🙂.
When a local biker saw what I did with my xv1100, he asked me if I could restore his xv535 and give it my touch. Well, I accepted the challenge and here it is. He was as happy as anyone that just had a baby.
