Carbon seat tray I needed a new seat tray. The previous metal one was a rush job by the looks of it. I'm not sure about the carbon. It looks like skinned but I don't want it to look cheap and tatty

The mock up Test fitting the tank and new bars. I like the apes but just fancied a change. Still not settled on a final decision but it won't be long

Personally I'm not a fan of bobbers. But, to each his own. I'm a Virago addict, but in their sexy glory. Only thing I don't like about the factory set-up are the bars. The rest, to me is perfection.

Art project I wasn't sure how to freshen these. Finally decided that I would paint them black again but I would get tiny art writing in rose gold and pain stakingly place each letter with glue and tweezers. Not for big stupid hands. I have hands like feet. But I got there. Lacquer over the top and hey presto

Like new There's some parts I didn't even know the name of. So degreaser and some scotch pad and it's like new. This was a front wheel spacer. It's the small details

Black and gold The colour scheme was chosen. Black and gold. Fake white walls gone. No more dripping paint when I fuel up. New rubber. The excitement is back
