Just did a triple tree stem swap from the GSX750F triple to the KZ550 OEM triple tree stem.
GSX1100 swinger came in! Fits like a sock! Just gotta fabricate some wheel & swinger axle spacers now. And as you can see, dual shocks also needs to be changed ;)
There were no more criss cross patterns in the cylinder heads so I had to hone it. Valve seals are replaced! Couldn’t really work on the bike outside today because of the magnificent Danish weather... reminds me alot about home in the Netherlands. #lortvejr #kutweer
The GSXR 1200 rear wheel has arrived and well.. stupid me realized that it is too big for the OEM swinger. I’ve then ordered a gsx1100 swinger which is also a dual shock and the axle diameter should be compatible with the KZ frame. I’ve also received the GSX750 forks, but no upper yoke? The steering stem was too short so I have to push the old stem out from the KZ yoke and push it into the GSX triple tree.
