One very rainy morning I crashed on the highway. I was aquaplaning and when the truck in front of me suddenly braked hard, I found my wheels with no traction at all, and quickly went down. I slammed my shoulder into the asphalt, and the left clip on got bent. The draining screw in right lower fork hit something and snapped off, taking part of the threads with it. I was able to patch it with aluminium quickweld made for fixing cracked engine cases on the fly and it held up ever since.

@agustin.s I was fortunately not hurt, and the bike was running again in less than a week

The only time I ever had the engine open during the 40.000 kms I have put on this bike, was to replace the clutch. It was 2 in the morning and I had to make a tool for the special nut.

2 into 1 midpipe. Made from leftover pieces from a xs650 exhaust.

The build as it is at the moment. I have had the bike for a few years and have done a lot of ongoing modifications. At the moment its kind of a scrambler-thingy, super practical everyday bike. I beat it up a lot, riding in all conditions all year round
