This is a build I did in dedication to the greatest riding road in the northeast the Kancamagus Highway. To the leaf peeper and bike week attendees this is a must see, to the go fast citizens of NH it’s a late night/early morning proving ground with a world renowned hairpin. As for the build itself, I started with a 1975 Dt250 that although looked to be a good one, defined “rode hard and put away wet”. The frame and tank had been repainted to look good from afar but far from good and the cosmetics weren’t even the worst of it. Nearly 100 hours went into moulding the unsightly welds, repairing the tank and fabricating the tail section. Both front and rear ends were swapped out for a modern YZ250 and older virago swing arm to accommodate the custom built CLmotoTech shocks. The headlights I fabbed from a vintage number plate from Petty Plastics and the brake light and turn signals are a Rudeboy bespoke part dubbed “Future Classic”. We offer these on the site and are custom made to your bike. The seat was fabbed in house out of steel and we poured smooth on two part foam and wrapped it in NOS 1975 Chevy Blazer vinyl. We’re running Shinko Trails front and rear on 19”’wheels from Ktm and Yamaha. The paint is Darryl Kandyman Kustom’s take on the current Lamborghini Grey and the graphics were cut and installed by Mark at Turn One Graphics.
