Citycoco - Chopper (Electric+Gasoline)

Ideas written on Google Sketchup! Little update: facing a trouble now The generator will only work depending of the power of the things connected to it. The scooter works with 3000W and 20Amp, so the only generator that would work on it, its a huge one and so heavy! There is a chance for a small one, the one Im wanting for the project, to work on it! But I need to find an electric specialist to help me doing this math! A small generator working on a powerfull electric motor!

You want to put a range extender?

45km to autonomy is really low, and a bigger pack wouldn't fix that perfectly... The good side from a gasoli e generator would be, that we have gas stations everywhere

This is an electric scooter, reaches 50k/h and can ride more than 45km with one charge. The battery is the big problem here, because its expansive and 45km doesn't let me go anywhere. The first part of my project is to create a big "bag" made out of leather to fill this empty space where it should be the "motor" on a regular motorcycle. The second part is put a gasoline generator on this bag, and find a way to keep it safe and firm on the motorcycle. (Considering that this motorcycle works from a cable linked to the battery, I would put the generator as a source energy) And by doing this solving two main issues this bike has: 1- It doesn't make any sound, so cars and buses frequently don't see me. (And the generator makes this sound, the closer sound a chopper motorcycle does) 2- I could increase the 45km autonomy limit to something closer to the 120km~. Unfortunately there is a huge problem I can't find a solution for. I am going to transform the gasoline in the generator in electricity, and then this electricity will supply the motorcycle motor. I would lose a lot of energy in those changes (chemical energy - electrical energy - mechanical/kinetic energy)
