BMW K100 Cafe - first project bike

After almost 2 years of sitting in storage I finally get to work on the K100 again. Right before storage, I started it twice the gas dumped out of the fuel rail. Finally investigated and the oring on the first injector was dry. Replaced all them. Got it to run and roll for the first time since the project started. Keeps dying on me and the throttle cable is too short. Making a new throttle cable and I think the mass air meter just needs tweaking.

Got it 90% done and even running a few times! Then the front injector popped out and dumped gas everywhere. Depressing. Need to tear apart and repaint. After that it still needs throttle/clutch cables, read brake reservoir mounted, Speedo programmed.

It finally looks like a motorcycle again! Was planning on painting the tank forest green, but the aluminum looks pretty good

After a slight setback I’m back to work. This is the most torn down it gets. From now on it will start looking more and more like a motorcycle again!
