Some tubing around the casing and some jb-weld, and it's good as new! Now to get them back on the bike!

Been a while since an update, but back to getting the bike to a state I'm happy with, started rebuilding the carbs the other day but unfortunately discovered that the main jet casing on the left carb has a crack all the way through where it threads in, probably from being over tightened by a previous owner, however think I have come up with a fix after reading a few threads where this had happened!!

Added some nice new levers to the bike, and also made some progress in refining the shape of the rear fairing, thinking of changing the bars to clip-ons, as the ybr forks we swapped to are about 2inches longer than the originals and it's changed the geometry of the bike quite a bit, as well as making the center-stand pretty un-usable...

Did some more work on the fairing tonight, patched the holes and made it fit better around the rear light, (that we got wired up and working with the rear brake) as the light position changed slightly due to some slight hardware movements to make it easier to bolt up..

Started neatening off the custom rear fairing last night, a lot of sanding and a lot of dust later and its starting to look good! A lot of patching followed by filling will be needed but we're making definite progress!
