Little update, headlight needs to be adjusted and reprinted because it currently faces the sky. Took a Brembo brake lever and master cylinder off of a Ducati and replaced the front lever, will hopefully be doing the same with the rear. Started setting up the wiring to run off the alternator, turn signals, front headlight and rear taillight. Got some parts coming in for the carb and going to change the spark plug and try and get it running next time. Also working on getting a temporary set of enduro tires!

Here is the process of prototyping a headlight shroud. I’m going with a full geometric look for the tank/headlight/fairings. Having a 3D printer has been a huge help with being able to get the shapes I want! I was able to get mounting points and brackets for the LED bar and mini turn signals figured out and put all together within the housing. I’m going to be doing one more final print with some mounting points to the triple tree and print it in carbon fiber PLA to give it a bit more strength! Stay tuned!

Snagged a vfr750 swimgarm, a triumph Hub and a Ducati monster 1100 Evo wheel… Got plans to make this a single sided swingarmed supermoto 🙃🙃 Going to get myself a matching front wheel and some Honda crf450 front forks. For now I’ll just be riding on the normal extended swingarm, but there’s a long term goal in mind! Stay tuned!!

Still working away at getting that gas tank all made up! I need to cut out and bend the side panels, then weld it all up! When I was redoing the rear wheel bearings, the retaining ring was pinned into the hub for some reason, so after taking it to a shop to be removed, I used a thread file to clean it up and slapped it back in there! Also got all new wheel dampers because my previous ones were old, rotted and broken. After tightening everything up I gave it a spin and it’s all working great! There is a little brake noise as they are new and the drum hasn’t been resurfaced, but that should go away after a few miles! Next up is the front wheel bearings/brakes and then finally finishing up on the gas tank and seat! I was able to snag a Corbin seat in a trade and I’m going to chop that up and make the seat pan out of it.
